Welcome to Hoveringham
Hoveringham lies on the northern bank of the River Trent or Trisanton as the medieval Celts called it. We have a population of 350 people and quite a few animals. The village has a Public House and a Farm Park with a restaurant. The Elm Tree Hotel which had quite a history, and The Marquis of Granby public House are both now residential properties. The Village is comprised of three roads and most of the houses line these roads. We are 11 miles from Nottingham and 5 miles from Southwell, Newark is 14 miles away and Mansfield 17 miles away. The upgraded A46 Fosse Way is over Gunthorpe Bridge and up the hill.
